On Friday, March 3rd members of the Bap Lab presented a poster at the Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) Annual Meeting in Boston. The poster entitled “Pre-crastination in physical and cognitive tasks” reported the results of an experiment conducted during the Fall 2022 semester which found that individuals that “pre-crastinate” (complete a task as soon as possible, even when this comes at the cost of extra effort) in both physical and cognitive tasks. However, the lab also identified important factors that impact the likelihood of “pre-crastinating”. For more details, see a pdf of the poster here.
