BAP Lab RAs Participate in Summer Internships

Clara Retzloff, ’25 will be serving as an animal care intern in the bird department at the Southwick Zoo in Mendon, Massachusetts. Clara will participate in daily care and enrichment programs for the Zoo’s avian residents and support educational outreach. Alua Samat, ’25 will participate in the NYU Applied Psychology Q.U.E.S.T summer program, which seeks to increase the opportunities for historically underrepresented students of color through research mentorship, academic career exploration, and doctoral program preparation. As part of this program, Alua will be working as a research assistant in a lab that focuses on inter-group conflict and social change.
